Day 1
This South Luangwa Safari begins mid-morning as you are collected in Chipata and transferred to our beautiful campsite located within the surrounds of Wildlife Camp. Game viewing begins an hour before reaching camp as we drive through the heart of Lupande Game Management Area, so keep your eyes open! After a quick briefing and a time to settle into the camp, you will have a lazy lunch before heading off on your first game drive. We leave camp as soon as everyone is ready to get ahead of the 16:00 rush, allowing for both an afternoon and night drive rolled into one. Our early departure gives us a head start on the other lodges and means that you'll have time to enjoy sundowners at one of the beautiful oxbow lagoons in an area that few other vehicles reach on their drives. Driving after dark offers excellent chances of seeing leopards, lions, honey badgers and all the other nocturnal wonders this amazing National Park offers. On our return to the camp between 20:00 and 20:30, a delicious home-cooked dinner will await you.

Day 2
It's an early wake-up call in preparation for the morning drive. Enjoy a light breakfast, served with coffee or tea before setting off for our second foray into the Park. At this time of day the chances of seeing elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos and zebras are excellent. By around 11:00 we'll be back in time for a tasty brunch. The early afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure; perhaps you fancy a snooze, a swim in the Wildlife Camp pool, or just the opportunity to swap stories and photographs at the bar. In the cool of the early afternoon we’ll eat lunch and then we're off for the second afternoon and night drive of the safari. After an exciting evening tracing all those elusive nocturnal creatures, another hearty dinner will be ready on our return.

Day 3
Up, up and away on the last morning! After a light breakfast we head out for the second morning drive. This is another chance to spot any of the species we haven't ticked off our lists yet, but, more importantly, we can absorb the breathtaking beauty and tranquility that is so unique to the African bush one more time. Back at camp we will have a satisfying brunch at about 11:00 and prepare for the transfer back to Chipata. There will be a little spare time to take some last minute photos and maybe enjoy a cool drink at the bar before you head off.

Included in the price: all activities, meals (including wine) and accommodation, transfers to and from Chipata, all National Park entry fees and sundowners.
